About

I’m an MSc student at the Université de Montréal and Mila, where I am advised by Laurent Charlin. My current research interests are in developing robust representations for online learning settings, and in bridging deep learning with operations research topics. I am also broadly interested in applications of machine learning for social good, as well as policy considerations in the development of AI.

I previously spent a few years working at Airbnb on site performance and anti-fraud initiatives. Prior to that, I did my undergrad in Software Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. During that time I had the opportunity to study on exchange at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and work at startups in Toronto and San Francisco as well as a financial services firm in New York.
